AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour Inc. and The Gatorade Co. have announced a deal where the sports drink will serve as a sponsor of the AVP Nissan Series.

When Horseshoe Bend High School's volleyball team takes the court later this month, the Lady Generals will have a new coach leading the charge. Chris Elliott was named the new coach last month, and he said he looks for a good season in 2005 despite his lack of experience in coaching volleyball.
