Fleener tabbed Shelbyville volleyball coach (Journal Gazette & Times Courier)
SHELBYVILLE -- An assistant volleyball coach at Shelbyville for the past two seasons takes over the reigns of the Shelbyville varsity volleyball position.

SCC athlete nets college volleyball offer (The Reporter)
Shasta Millhollin, who led the Solano College volleyball team to second place in the Bay Valley Conference in 2005, will continue her career at Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont next fall. Millhollin, a sophomore who played in high school at Ponderosa in Shingle Springs, set records as the Falcons' setter in her only season with the team.

Cougars lead NSC in boys volleyball (The News Sun)
Vernon Hills High's boys volleyball team remained in first place in the North Suburban Conference with a 25-23, 25-17 win over Zion-Benton on Friday. The Cougars improved to 12-6 overall and 5-0 in the NSC, while the Zee-Bees dropped to 20-7, 4-2.

This year's 2006 Co-ed Volleyball league consisted of 8 teams with over 70 players competing. The league was held at E.C. Best Elementary Gym.
