Volleyball tournament served up mud pies to help Epilepsy Foundation (Dayton Daily News)
Billed as one of Dayton's most outrageous events, the 16th annual Mudaritaville Mud Volleyball Tournament was held Saturday at Wegerzyn Gardens.

Volleyball team wins nationals (The Charlotte Observer)
So much for slow starts. The Carolina Junior Volleyball Slam defeated Coast Volleyball Club of San Diego 27-25, 25-22 to win the USA Volleyball Junior Olympics 18-under national title in Atlanta on Wednesday. It was the first time a club team from North Carolina won a national championship.
