Brazilians succeed Americans as kings of beach volleyball (San Diego Union-Tribune)
PAN AM GAMES, 12:28 p.m. July 18 (AP): In the 1980s, Brazilians would cheer anxiously as their beach volleyball stars would battle to the finals against a U.S. pair, then groan as the Americans would walk away with the title.

Bapco rout BAS in volleyball (Gulf Daily News)
Bapco defeated BAS 2-0 (25-22, 25-20) in a Group A match of the Industrial Volleyball League played at the Juffair Dome. The victory was Bapco's first in the group after their first match defeat against defending champions GPIC.

Douglas schedules volleyball skills camp (Sand Mountain Reporter)
