VIRGINIA BEACH A 20-year-old man was convicted today of misdemeanor charges related to the Dec. 28 car crash that killed John J. “Jack” Korte Jr., a volleyball standout who was The Virginian-Pilot’s 2006 All-Tidewater player of the year.
