End of the Line It's official. The men's team will not participate in the World League final for the first time in four years. They needed to beat Russia twice this past weekend in Wichita. A 13 Seed Gets It's Day For those of you who grow weary of the same old faces in the AVP final week after week, there was some new blood on the stadium court this week in Hermosa Beach. Number 13 seed Matt Prosser and John Mayer made the final after taking out No. 10 seed Nygaard/Olson and No. 2 seed Hyden/Scott. Prosser and Mayer are the lowest seeded team to make a final this season.
Ripples in the AVP Waters Just like the minor earthquakes we've been having with frequency here in So Cal, the newest partner swaps will make a few waves, but will not exactly shake the AVP off it's foundation.
