W. Volleyball. Auburn Closes Out Blue Raider Bash With 3-0 Win Over Southern Miss
The Auburn volleyball team ended the 2010 Blue Raider Bash with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 26-24) victory over Southern Miss Sunday afternoon on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University.

One question that came up in the midst of all the talk of boycotts and conspiracy theories surrounding the Manhattan Beach tournament was whether or not it was fair for this year's winners to get their names on the pier. How "Over" Is The AVP?

It's official. As of now, the AVP is done. After two weeks of limbo and waiting for word, the AVP let the staff, players and fans know on Friday the 13th of all days that the decision was made. The rest of the 2010 season is canceled. No scheduled AVP events in San Francisco, Chicago, Cincinnati, Hermosa Beach or Manhattan Beach in the coming weeks. It's over.

USA Women 1-2 in Grand Prix

The USA women's team began their annual World Grand Prix competition over the weekend. The Grand Prix is similar in format to the men's World League in that it is a month long, involves traveling every weekend to different match locations and has lots of money on the line for the winners. One major difference is they'll play no matches at home.
