The East Middle volleyball team is trying to go from worst to first this season. The girls are off to a 4-3 start and find themselves in second place in the conference after taking second in the South Oldham Middle School tournament over the weekend.

However, don’t lose faith as he says, “There’s nothing like coaching. It’s awesome. However, it didn’t always used to be this way for me.”

USA men sweep Mexico

Team USA swept Mexico 3-0 to start the NORCECA championship tournament.

“Tonight’s match was a great start to the tournament,” said Team USA head coach Hugh McCutcheon (Christchurch, New Zealand). “The team was able to play at a high level and sustain it throughout the entire match. We hope to build on this momentum throughout as we get ready for our next match.”
